welcome back to another blog post! i'm welcoming myself back as well, because it's been some time.

a lot has changed: i am now running the computer science club at my college (vice president),i got a return offer from my data engineer internship (it's now an apprenticeship), and i am also starting to tutor computer science at my college. all that, and i am not even allowed to be admitted into the computer science program... but why??

math. i love logic, but math has never appealed to me. it just doesn't itch my brain like programming does. but, i'm working on that.

i've been told by advisors, friends, and professors that i should change my major, that i'd never get a job due to market saturation, and that i'd need to know math. well, i guess that's just not true lmao.

and don't even get me started with professors forcing us to write code on paper for exams. LOL

anyways, i'm in the math last class that i need for my entrance into the computer science major. i took it this summer, but the professor decided to make the class a lot more difficult by not allowing calculators, notes, and not giving any partial credit. the entire class literally failed. no joke. professor is rated 1 star.. yikes!

goes to show, life aint pretty - it takes a lot to succeed. but i am not stopping - and i never will. all this just motivates me to work harder :) and hopefully shows you that everything and everyone you see online isn't perfect. and if it seems like it is, something isn't real or is being hidden.

if we wanna talk finances, i haven't spent a single penny of the money that i've made from my jobs. and it feels so rewarding. well, technically i have, but from bank bonuses, credit card referrals, and stocks, i come out well ahead.

i guess my life is just all about discipline. i write this after working 8-10+ consecutive hours -- for countless days, and weeks straight. weekends too. between apprenticeship, stocks, school, working out, businesses, i've lost count. but it really feels great.
